Illuminated light boxes

Front-lit boxes with an acrylic face, double-sided projecting boxes and LED illuminated signs. Production and servicing.

What we make

  • Front-lit light box with acrylic face

A housing with LED modules and an acrylic face carrying the graphics. The whole face lights up. It is the most common choice for the facade of a shop or service outlet.

  • Double-sided projecting light box

A light box at right angles to the facade, with graphics on both sides. Passers-by see it from both directions along the street, after dark too.

  • Composite panel face with illuminated letters

We cut the letters and logo out of a composite panel face and fill the openings with acrylic. Only the cut-out elements light up, and the rest of the face stays dark. The effect is more understated than a fully lit face.

  • LED illuminated sign

Illuminated lettering, signs and custom-shaped elements for facades, interiors and freestanding structures. We match the solution to the location and the effect the light should create.

What affects the price

  • Size and depth

The face size and box depth set the amount of material and the number of LED modules.

  • Single or double-sided

A projecting box lights up on both sides, so it has two faces and more lighting.

  • Face type

An acrylic face, a banner face or a composite panel with cut-out letters differ in price and effect.

  • Installation and power

Mounting height and access to power affect the cost of on-site work.

Your order, step by step

  1. 01

    Quote

You send the dimensions, a photo of the mounting location and the graphics. We send a quote back within one working day.

  2. 02

    Design and visualisation

We agree the dimensions, housing depth and type of face. You approve a visualisation on a photo of the building.

  3. 03

    Production

We build the housing, fit the LEDs and make the face with your graphics.

  4. 04

    Installation

Our own teams install the light box, from a lift where needed. We connect it to a prepared power supply.

  5. 05

    Servicing

After installation we also service light boxes: we replace the lighting and faces.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an acrylic face and a banner face?

An acrylic face gives even, bright light and a rigid surface. A banner face suits large formats and makes changing the graphic easy.

Can the graphic in an existing light box be replaced?

Yes. In boxes with a banner or changeable face we replace the graphic without replacing the housing.

Do you service light boxes?

Yes. We also service light boxes, including replacing lighting and faces.

Can a light box switch on by itself after dark?

Yes. On request we fit a timer or a twilight sensor that switches the lighting on and off.

Does a light box need consent?

A light box on a facade usually needs consent from the building manager or residents' association, and sometimes from the local office. You obtain the consents yourself. Our visualisation will help with the application.
