3D lettering

Dimensional letters in acrylic and sheet metal, lit from the front, the back (halo effect) or the sides, foam letters, and 3D logos and details for facades and interiors.

What we make

  • Non-illuminated acrylic letters

Letters cut from acrylic, glued to the wall or mounted on spacers. These are the simplest 3D letters, good for interiors and for facades lit from outside.

    • Roof
  • Front-lit letters

The face of each letter lights up while the sides stay opaque. The lettering is legible after dark from a long distance. We fit the LED modules inside the letters.

    • Interior
    • Roof
  • Halo-lit letters

Light comes out of the back of each letter and lights up the wall around its outline, while the face stays dark. The letters must stand off the wall, and the background should be light and even.

  • Foam letters

Lightweight foam letters with an acrylic, PVC or composite panel face. They cost less than metal letters. They suit interiors and facades sheltered from the rain.

    • Interior
  • 3D logo or dimensional detail

A logo or mark in three dimensions, built up from several layers or milled. It can be illuminated in the same way as letters.

What affects the price

  • Letter height

Taller letters use more material and often need a sturdier build.

  • Number of characters

Each letter is a separate piece, so the price grows with the length of the text.

  • Illumination

Non-illuminated letters cost least. Front-lit and halo letters need LED modules and power.

  • Installation

Mounting height, facade type and any mounting frame change the cost.

Your order, step by step

  1. 01

    Quote

You send the logo or text and a photo of the facade. We suggest a letter height and send a quote back within one working day.

  2. 02

    Design and visualisation

We choose the typeface, height and lighting. You approve a visualisation of the lettering on the building.

  3. 03

    Production

We cut the faces and sides by laser or CNC router, assemble the letters and fit the LEDs. For installation, we prepare a template showing where each letter goes.

  4. 04

    Installation date

We set an installation day that fits the building's availability.

  5. 05

    Installation

Our own teams install the letters, from a lift where needed. We connect illuminated letters to a prepared power supply.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between front-lit and halo letters?

With front lighting the face of the letter glows. With a halo effect the light falls on the wall behind the letter and creates a glow around its outline.

What are 3D letters made of?

Most often acrylic, sheet metal, or foam with an acrylic, PVC or composite face. We choose the material to suit the location and budget.

How tall should the letters be?

It depends on the distance they need to be read from. When quoting, we suggest a height based on a photo of the facade.

How do you mount letters on a facade?

We fix the letters individually on spacers, or on a shared rail or panel. We choose the method to suit the facade: render, insulation, metal cladding or glass.

Are the letters suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. We make acrylic, metal and illuminated letters from weather-resistant materials. We recommend foam letters for interiors and sheltered spots.
