Wayfinding and building signage

A complete visual identification system for a building: information and directional boards, interior signage, pictograms, numbering and tenant boards, coordinated with the construction schedule.

What we make

  • Wayfinding system design

A design for all of a building's signage: board layout, typography, colours, pictograms and a schedule of every element. We can create it from scratch or develop the architect's design. You can order the design without production.

  • Information and directional boards

Boards that lead to entrances, stairwells, the car park and individual units. Outdoors we use weather-resistant materials, indoors lighter boards. The content and directions come from the schedule in the system design.

    • Freestanding
  • Interior signage (floors, doors, numbering)

Signs for floors, stairwells and doors, and unit numbering. There are usually dozens or hundreds of similar elements, so we start with a schedule based on the floor plans.

    • Interior
  • Exterior site signage

Freestanding boards, posts and signs for entrances, car parks and buildings across the site. We install freestanding elements on foundations or anchors.

  • Pictograms and evacuation signage

Evacuation, fire safety and information signs. We make them to the PN-EN ISO 7010 standard, including photoluminescent versions.

    • Interior
  • Tenant directory board

A board listing the companies in the building, at the entrance or in the lobby. Tenant panels can be replaceable, so a change of tenant does not need a new board.

What affects the price

  • Number and type of signs

The count of boards, plates and pictograms sets the scale of the job.

  • System design

A system designed from scratch includes layout, typography and a sign schedule.

  • Materials

Exterior signs need weather-resistant materials, while interior ones can be lighter.

  • Staged installation

Installing in phases alongside the construction schedule changes how the work is organised.

Your order, step by step

  1. 01

    Schedule and quote

From floor plans, a room list or the design, we prepare a schedule of elements and a quote.

  2. 02

    System design

We design the layout, typography and pictograms, or work from the architect's design. You approve the schedule of signs before production.

  3. 03

    Production

We produce the elements in batches, in the order they will be installed.

  4. 04

    Scheduling with the build

We agree installation dates with the general contractor and the availability of each part of the building.

  5. 05

    Phased installation

Our own teams install in phases, as construction progresses.

Frequently asked questions

Do you design wayfinding systems from scratch?

Yes. We can design the building's visual identification system or produce one from the architect's design.

Can installation happen in stages?

Yes. We schedule installation around the construction timetable and site availability.

Which documents help with the quote?

Floor plans, a room schedule or a list of signs. From these we prepare a sign schedule and a quote.

Does the evacuation signage meet the regulations?

Yes. We make evacuation and fire safety signs to the PN-EN ISO 7010 standard. Their placement follows the building design and the arrangements made with the fire safety expert.

Can I order just the system design, without production?

Yes. You can order the signage design on its own and commission production at any time.

Can you make more signs later?

Yes. We archive our designs, so we can make further signs to the same standard.
